We’ve had an absolutely fantastic’ response to our appeal for wedding dresses for our exhibition next year.

We want to include dresses work right up to the present day, and lots of brides have been in touch to tell us about their beautiful dresses from the 1970s onwards.

We are also really keen to display some older dresses. If you have one from the 1960s or earlier, maybe worn by your mother or even grandmother, then we would especially love to hear from you.

Have you still got your wedding dress? If so and you are prepared to lend it to us it could go into an exhibition next year.

We are planning to put these dresses on display as we explores the recent history of the wedding dress.

Beautiful wedding dresses deserve to be shared with the world more than once, so please consider loaning yours to us – we promise to take very good care of it.
