Bridge Cottage Heritage Centre hosts various exhibitions throughout the year.

170 Years of Holy Cross School – This exhibition aims to portray aspects of Holy Cross School over its 170 year existence. You may recognise events, trophies, your classroom or any aspect of your time at Holy Cross. If you didn’t go to the school, chances are, someone you know did!

Holy Cross School Thanksgiving Service to be held Saturday 2nd March 2024 11am at Holy Cross Church-all welcome.


200 Years of Nutley Windmill‘. This exhibition ran from 20th May 2023 to 27th May 2023.


The ‘Coronation Exhibition’ took place on 29th April 2023 to celebrate to coronation of HM King Charles III


The ‘Platinum Jubilee’ Exhibition was on Saturday 28th May 2022. An exhibition celebrating 70 years of service. Including photos and documents relating to HM Queen Elizabeth II’s visits to Uckfield as well as a display showing the changes in fashion during her reign.


‘Uckfield South of the River’ Exhibition was on from 25th January 2020 to 1st February 2020. The exhibition explored the community that grew around Framfield Road and New Town after the railway came to Uckfield in 1857.


The exhibition, ‘Bridge Cottage, a home for nearly 600 years‘ was on from 30th March-6th April 2019. The exhibition traced the life of the building and the people that lived there.
