The summer holidays are nearly over

Our last Living History Day of the summer holidays today was great fun. We enjoyed talking to our guests about Tudor and Stuart life. Our amazing volunteers, Tricia, Georgia, Maddy and Ellie all engaged our visitors with chats on period clothing, medicines, food and industry. Here you see some of our visitors feasting at our oak table with their freshly prepared Tudor salad. Don’t they look great in their costumes!

Our young visitors enjoyed the quiz trail and colouring competition. The competition closes 4th Sept. Entries will be judged and winning categories advised shortly.

Thank you to all our wonderful guests who have visited us this summer. Look out for our next school holiday events during the October half term.
